Mary Queen of Peace Primary School, Glenravel
A new modern 9-classroom school building on a greenfield site at Glenravel which will provide a multi-purpose hall, full production kitchen, dedicated staff facilities and resource area for 250 pupils and staff.
External facilities include play areas on both hard and soft surfaces, a store play equipment, plus 29 parking spaces for staff and visitors and a designated drop-off area.
Two local primary schools, St Mary’s of Cargan and Glenravel PS of Martinstown, will be amalgamated in the new state of the art facility.
Construction on the site began in March 2026 and is due to be completed in July 2027.
In May 2024, the Education Minister announced funding for the school as part of an additional £80m injection of capital funding for education projects.
