Strabane Leisure Centre
Design and construction management of a new state-of-the-art leisure centre in Strabane, an ambitious project which is pursuing Passivhaus accreditation, embedding towards net-zero principles to minimise carbon impact in line with the Council’s sustainability goals.
The proposed facility will include a fully accessible main pool with sauna and steam rooms, a separate leisure and teaching pool, and dedicated children’s water play areas. Additional amenities will feature a fitness suite, wellness spa, multi-use studios, café, conference and meeting rooms, squash court, spin studio, and wet and dry changing facilities.
Design work is underway, with pre-planning engagement expected in Summer 2026 and completion targeted for the 2029/30 financial year, subject to approvals.
