The redevelopment of Rowandale Integrated Primary & Nursery School is approaching its final stages, delivering a modern, sustainable educational campus in Moira.
The project includes the construction of a new-build primary school featuring 14 classrooms alongside a dedicated nursery facility, creating high-quality learning spaces for more than 340 pupils and staff.
Designed with sustainability at its core, the development is targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating, reflecting a strong focus on energy efficiency, environmental performance and long-term value.
A key milestone was achieved with completion of the main school building in September 2025, with the carpark and associated external works completed this month. The nursery school building continues to progress on programme and is scheduled for completion in October 2026, marking the final phase of the redevelopment.
Once complete, the new campus will provide state-of-the-art teaching accommodation, improved accessibility and enhanced outdoor facilities, ensuring Rowandale Integrated Primary & Nursery School is well positioned to support future generations for decades to come.
