Rowandale Integrated Primary & Nursery School, Moira
New build school comprising 14 classrooms and nursery unit which will provide state-of-the-art facilities for over 340 pupils plus staff, and will accommodate a yearly increase in pupil numbers.
The new school building consists of three main building components: the Multi-Purpose Hall, Entrance/Administration, and Main Classroom Block (comprising teaching and resource areas). Externally, soft play areas, drop off/pick-up area and additional staff car parking are provided.
The building has been designed to BREEAM Excellent for energy conservation and sustainability.
The new school buildings and associated external and site works have been completed in a phased approach with the existing school remaining operational during construction.
The school moved into their new building in September 2025, and the carpark and associated external works completed in May 2026. The nursery building commenced in January 2026 and is due for completion in October 2026.
