Edendork Primary School, Dungannon
A new single-storey school building on a 1.78-hectare site will provide 11 classrooms, a multi-purpose dining and sports hall, flexible teaching and staff rooms, resource areas and changing/toilet facilities.
Classrooms are designed in clusters around a centrally-located staff room to form a courtyard. The school has been designed to deliver the highest sustainable and environmental standards.
It will facilitate out of hours activities so that the facilities can serve as a local community hub.
Construction commenced in April 2026, with completion anticipated in September 2027.
In May 2024, the Education Minister announced funding for the school as part of an additional £80m injection of capital funding for education projects.
