St Killian’s College, Carnlough
A transformative educational project set in the heart of the Antrim Coast and Glens Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which will provide new contemporary, purpose-built facilities for 800 post-primary pupils on the 11 hectare existing school site.
A new 9,737sqm building will complement the site’s rich architectural heritage and will carefully integrate with two existing Grade B1 listed buildings Garron Tower and St MacNissi’s College Chapel. Additionally, the historic St Joseph’s building will be preserved, ensuring a sensitive approach to the site’s architectural legacy.
Planning approval was granted in May 2022.
A new purpose-built Sixth Form Centre will be incorporated into the campus redevelopment featuring a dedicated Careers Department, modern Study Area, cutting-edge IT Suite, two flexible Classrooms, two Multi-Purpose Rooms and associated ancillary accommodation.
