Redevelopment of NICSSA Multi Sports Facility, Belfast
Redevelopment of the NICSSA (NI Civil Service Sports Association) pavilion complex on the 20ha site at the Stormont Estate in Belfast to provide new centre of international sporting excellence.
The existing pavilion building will be replaced with a new 5,850m2 two-storey pavilion with state-of-the-art indoor sports halls, fitness centre, changing rooms and meeting spaces.
Outdoor facilities include natural and artificial floodlit pitches to accommodate football, rugby, GAA and tennis. Standalone changing accommodation provides two indoor training centres sized for international football and rugby training. Additional car and cycle parking are included.
Planning approval was granted in June 2024.
