In November 2024, the new state-of-the-art 3-storey school building for Ulidia Integrated College in Carrickfergus opened its doors on the existing campus, offering essential modern and energy-efficient educational and sports facilities for 700 students, staff, teachers, parents and the wider community.
These enhanced facilities include exceptional sports areas, a Technology and Design Suite that is significantly larger than the previous one, a dedicated Sixth Form Study and Wellbeing Space, and a new Library.
This marks the first phase of a two-phase programme. Phase 2 is expected to be completed in March 2025 and will include the addition of car parking and sports pitches.
