A major construction milestone is approaching for Holy Trinity College in Cookstown, with the completion of a striking new multi-million-pound school building scheduled for this autumn.
The impressive 3-storey development spans approximately 16,000m2 and represents a significant investment in modern educational infrastructure for the area. Designed to accommodate 1,300 pupils, the contemporary facility will feature a central courtyard design, complemented by single-storey sports and technology annexes.
The ambitious project is being delivered through a carefully planned two-phase approach to ensure minimal disruption to the school’s daily operations. Phase 1 encompasses the construction of the main school building with a completion targeted for late September 2025, alongside a new championship size GAA pitch (completed in May 2025).
Phase 2 will follow with the demolition of the original school building and the implementation of extensive external improvements. These enhancements will include a dedicated bus drop-off zone and expanded car parking facilities.
The new Holy Trinity College will serve as a flagship educational facility, combining traditional academic excellence with modern amenities.
