The Redevelopment of the Templemore Sports Complex at Buncrana Road, Derry will create a modern regional leisure destination that will serve communities across the City and the wider North West.
We’re delighted that esc construction consultants is providing Quantity Surveying services on the proposed Templemore Leisure and Sports Complex, as part of the McAdam Design Ltd Integrated Consultant Team for Derry City and Strabane District Council.
The proposed circa £100 million development will deliver an exceptional range of facilities, including:
- An accessible 50m 8-Lane Main Pool with Spectator Seating
- A comprehensive range of wet-side play facilities including flumes, play features, and wet zones tailored for a range of kids’ age groups
- Poolside Sauna/Steam
- Accessible Café
- Health & Wellness Spa
- 8-court Sports Hall for a range of sports and activities
- Large Flexible Multi-Use Studios and Activity Rooms, including a Dedicated Spin Studio
- Extensive Fitness Suite (with functional areas)
- Outdoor Facilities, including Full-sized Floodlit GAA 3G Pitch, full-sized Soccer Cross-Pitches, Running Track and Running/Walking trails
To be designed and constructed to Passivhaus principles, the development will prioritise exceptional energy efficiency, thermal performance, user comfort, and long-term operational sustainability.
